 Aṣṭādhyāyī (Ashtadhyayi) - Explanation

A scripture consisting of eight chapters

 Introduction

Aṣṭādhyāyī (lit. a book consisting of eight chapters) is the corner stone of Sanskrit grammar. It was written by celebrated Pāṇini (the greatest Sanskrit grammarian of all time).

Having noticed that most readers will not be able to understand the extremely cryptic aphorisms of the original scripture, I decided to write this rather complete explanation of the whole scripture.
